Geoff Fitch Background

For more than 25 years, Geoff has studied and worked in transformative learning and growth, business, leadership development and organizational change, where he brings deep capacities for insight, synthesis, and creativity in helping individuals and organizations to evolve to greater integrity, effectiveness, and agility.  Geoff combines a practical, grounded background in business, with a deep capacity to coach, teach, and mentors others to greater fulfillment and contribution. 

Corporate Management Experience

Geoff brings over 30 years experience in business, management and organizational leadership, including 18 years in progressive responsibility in management in the computer industry and 12 years as a consultant, coach and trainer in leadership. 

In corporate work, Geoff brings diverse experience in management roles in engineering, strategy, service and brand marketing in the fast-changing environment of the computer industry, at companies like Adobe Systems, Sun Microsystems, Rational Software, and start-up companies. In these roles, Geoff led a variety of efforts, including dozens of new product launches, business growth, strategic change and repositioning, internationalization, and brand development. Geoff’s work focused often on strategic change and led him to gain a keen insight into the dynamics of change, the human dimension of organizational work, managing complexity and chaos, and led him to focus on coaching and transformative learning in leadership. 

Coaching and Consulting Experience

Since 2002, Geoff has been a consultant, coach, and educator helping individuals and organizations improvement the effectiveness of leadership and management through transformative growth. Geoff is a founder of Pacific Integral and creator of Generating Transformative Change (GTC), the highly acclaimed, research-based, international graduate certificate program in integral leadership and change offered in partnership with Saybrook Graduate University. The program – now serving its 24th cohort – is an incubator for new forms of leadership, creativity and action designed to meet the complex, emerging needs of a more compassionate, ethical, and sustainable human society. GTC has served over 200 leaders from dozens of countries worldwide. Geoff has designed and led 100's of multi-day, deep-dive leadership and personal development retreats. Geoff has worked as a speaker and facilitator of leadership development in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and Africa. 

As an executive coach, Geoff has logged over 2000 hours with leaders of a variety of backgrounds, including C-Level and mid-level executives, emerging and young leaders, from a diverse array of organizational contexts – public and private sector, NGOs, from a variety of industries. Geoff is known for deep listening, inquiry, creative insight, and the ability to see pathways and solutions and help clients find the clarity and confidence to pursue them. Geoff has also trained, coached and mentored dozens of coaches and consultants, in Pacific Integral’s Generating Transformative Change program, as an independent coach and educator, and as a trainer and coach to internal coaches in client organizations. 
As a consultant, Geoff has also lead and participated in several multi-year strategic change and leadership development engagements with organizational clients and coached dozens of leaders to higher levels of effectiveness and realization of their potential. These collaborative engagements have involved multiple approaches, including assessment and strategic visioning, change design, values and purpose clarification, leadership training for top- and mid-level managers, conflict resolution, individual and team coaching, meeting facilitation, and program evaluation. 

Education

Geoff’s education includes a BS in computer science, magna cum laude, from Boston University, an MA in Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, and additional graduate work in business and philosophy. Geoff has completed numerous trainings and certifications in coaching and change methodologies that inform his practice, including
